The Empowered Girl Alliance is a collective of self-identified, empowered girls and adult women mentors who, working together, are dedicated to providing adolescent girls with the information, support, guidance, and inspiration they need to make wise life choices and to realize their full potential.
We challenge the common cultural definitions of women’s beauty, power, and value — reclaiming truer, deeper meanings.
We aspire to raise the self-worth of adolescent girls, empowering them to identify for themselves who they are and what they want for their future.
An Empowered Girl sets a powerful example: she is an excellent role model for other girls. An Empowered Girl is truly the new super model of today; it is no coincidence that e. g. (exempli gratia) is inherent in her name.
